how to eat a veggie burger


cook the burger in a pan. use a little evoo for faux-greasiness. chop up some mushrooms and put them in the pan. drizzle those shrooms with balsamic vinegar. get excited. add spinach to the pan. add a little salt. put a really thin slice of cheese (or follow your heart) on the burger. let it melt. realize you're out of buns. lightly toast multigrain tuscany bread. put the hot ingredients on one slice. throw some romaine on the other. add sweet and spicy mustard. realize you're out of tomatos. use cucumber slices instead. add dijon mustard. smoosh together. enjoy.

  1. Awesome. I usually only have veggie burgers when I am out, but today I am making a rare visit to a Seventh Day Adventist market. They have faux meats out the wazhoo. Your photo looks so good I think I might buy some burgers there and try it out.
