Easy Asiany Noodles
This is not an authentic noodle dish. It's an explosion of things-i-had-on-hand.
I cooked some whole wheat noodles.
I threw some red cabbage, carrots, zucchini, garlic and mushroom in a pan with some EVOO and some sesame seed oil. I swished them around a while. I dumped some Newman's Own Sesame and Ginger dressing down over the veggies. I chopped up a few peanuts and threw them in the mix. When the pasta was done, I strained it and dumped it in the pan with the veggies and dressing. Stirred it. Plated it.

That sounds really yummy and super quick too, ill have to try this soon once I can get the dressing you used. I have never tried newmans dressings before, does it usually have a nice flavor? :)

looks delish! i like cabbage as a pasta add. it's relatively light tasting and very nutritious.
ReplyDeleteI really like the dressing. It reminds me of a a sauce that went with an asian roll up I had at an applebees or fridays many moons ago. But I'm sure you could make a sauce out of sesame seed oil, ginger, and vinegar for a similar taste.
